Hardware
The VCR is a Sony model (TODO: find info), the TV is a 1976 Sears Roebuck Model no. 564.
WHY CAN'T YOU BREATHE?
I was getting over a cold when I made this video so my lungs weren't working great, and I had also just moved the TV (and it is SURPRISINGLY HEAVY) right before filming. I also didn't realize I put the camera right up against my mouth while filming, and didn't do any editing.
RECYCLE THE VHS!
More than one person has complained that I threw out the tape, when I should have kept or recycled it. I'm sorry to "ruin the magic", but I did keep it. As soon as I ended the video, I got it back out. That was just for humor reasons.
